Trash-the-Dress with Junebug Photography

Beautiful October Wedding

Trash-the-Dress at Crane's Orchard
Junebug Photography had a wonderful opportunity to be part of the Louis Padnos‘ Employee Picnic. Louis Padnos is a scrap recycling facility, located in Holland, MI. Using the beautiful John Ball Zoo, of Grand Rapids, MI as a backdrop, we created fun family portraits and lasting memories. Check out the images on Junebug Photography’s website under the Your Proofs link; Padnos Picnic, or simply click the Junebug Photolink!

All little girls dream of being a bride: walking down the isle in a gorgeous, flowing white gown; dancing with her new husband as the dress swirls and ripples along the dance floor; smiling as you roll in the sand and waves of Lake Michigan at sunset… uh, romantic, but wait a minute. Trash-the-Dress implies major mayhem post-wedding, begging the question: do the images captured at a Trash-the-Dress session outweigh the dry cleaning bill post session? At Junebug Photography we believe they do. The Louis Padnos metal-yard, in downtown Holland, MI, offered a great opposing backdrop for a more industrial, edgy feel.

Industrial Downtown
After a long week of working behind the camera, Jon, the owner and main photographer of Junebug Photography gets a chance to feel what it is like in front of the lens! This week was filled with senior sessions from West Ottawa Public Schools, Zeeland Public Schools and Holland Public Schools, a trash-the-dress session in downtown Holland, and a commercial shoot of Robin Goodfellow Designs, to name a few.
