Senior Guys Brought It!

This summer, seniors from West Ottawa, Holland High, Zeeland East, Zeeland West and Saugatuck (just to name a few) dressed the part of cool soon-to-be-senior, and we couldn’t have been more proud. Sports, the outdoors and downtown Holland, were ultra-cool backdrops these seniors chose to show what they got. “Most of the junior guys really don’t worry too much about what they wear or how they express themselves, it’s definitely a sign that they are ready for senior year when they come to the photo-shoot prepared and looking top notch, ” says the Junebug Photography studio manager. Footwear is the key to happiness. We can alter our appearance by adding a platform, once we kick them off cut loose, and most importantly can change our perspective, possibly the world’s, just by walking a mile in a pair belonging to someone else. Becoming popular in 18th century France, high heels, or talon hauts (as the French would call them), are a dazzling fashion tool used by brides to not only express who they are, but have a little fun while still abiding by the traditional color palates of wedding dress whites and cremes. Nothing makes for a better photographic juxtaposition than an elegant bride, sitting in a demure pose, flashing a vividly colorful pair of stillettos. More daring than pink pumps; red cowboy boots. Spazzels, Famers, and the West Michigan Entrepreneur

Dave and Tasha Farmer are a wonderful couple full of laughter and fun. They are also founders of some really cool ventures in West Michigan and online. They started Spazzles in 2008 to offer the world a better way to accessorize hats and ultimately become the defacto replacement for traditional hat pins.* I had the pleasure of working with Dave and Tasha’s family over the past couple of years as both a family photographer and in a commercial capacity as well. One of our latest projects was a headshot session with both Dave and Tasha for promotional use on thier Facebook pages and also thier promotional products.

I will be posting a few images from a session shot with her daughter and her friends. Gretchen also has the Entrepreneurial spirit like her parents. She just started a new T-Shirt company called “Thats Beast” check it out and support a new local business!
